We are currently developing a brand new Paediatric Critical Care and Surgery in Children Operational Delivery Network and are looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic nurse to join the Operational Delivery Network (ODN) Management Team.

This Operational Delivery Network will cover the North East and North Cumbria region.

ODNs work with NHS England, CCGs, Health Education England and Public Health England to deliver programmes of work to achieve better outcomes for each patient group.

The purpose of the ODN is to drive quality, improve patient pathways and outcomes. This is achieved through engagement and representation from all its member organisations in collaborative partnership, bringing together clinicians to work together in order to promote the highest quality services.

What we are looking for is an experienced nurse with paediatric and surgical experience who has excellent communication skills, evidence of project management or change management and flexibility to respond to the needs of the network

The role involves providing expert nursing leadership, supporting with strategic planning and management of services across the region and working with local trusts to develop pathways.

The post requires regular travel within the network and to national meetings.

The network is currently hosted by South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The network base is at The James Cook University Hospital where the post-holder is expected to be on a regular basis to engage with the wider ODN team.
