As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Main duties of the job

This role is a night shift position where, as a Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you will attend to the varied needs of residents, providing them with high-quality, person-centred care and support. Duties include leading a care staff team, conducting training and supervisions, and assigning tasks during shifts. You will also be involved in medication administration and ordering, reviewing and updating care plans, and communicating with GPs, nursing teams, and family members. Candidates need an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, previous residential care experience, and leadership abilities. ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our Residents. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads or on to nursing pathways.
