Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust are the proud award winners of the HSJ Provider of the Year 2019 and have been selected to be 1 of only 11 national pilot sites across the country, to test new ways of delivering community mental health care and support. This is an exciting time for the Trust and gives opportunity for the right candidates to help shape and deliver new ways of working within community mental health across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.

As part of this exciting development we have a number of clinical, professional and non-clinical posts available to support the development of Primary Care Mental Health Networks, and to deliver innovative ways of supporting people to improve their mental health, wellbeing and support recovery. These roles include Senior Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychology Assistants, Pharmacist and Pharmacy technicians, Peer Support Workers and Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaches.

We are looking for motivated and experienced social workers to join our team in Hull and help shape and improve the delivery of contemporary community mental health support and treatment. As a social worker you will play a key role in ensuring that social work values, relational, transformational and rights based principles are embedded in practice. You will have knowledge and experience of the legal and statutory responsibilities for social care services including the Care Act 2014 as well as expert understanding of the social determinants of mental health.

As part of the Band 5 Social Worker criteria, applicants must have post qualifying social work experience; preferably in mental health, and have some experience of practicing at a senior level. All applicants must have a current registration under Social Work England.
