A unique opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist (AP) has become available at Open Door Young Peoples Service. Open Door is dedicated to improving the emotional health and well-being of young people in their transition from childhood to adulthood. The current role will consist of three key elements and will allow the successful candidate to gain experience in all the core elements of the service (research, clinical, data management and admin). We are looking for a highly capable and creative AP, with a good understanding in quantitative research, data management and excellent academic writing. The successful applicant will have a key role in the coordination of a randomised control trial (RCT), clinical training development, and outcome research. This post is most suited for psychology post-graduates who wish to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy or Research Psychology. To date all� APs who have completed their year with us have been successful in obtaining a place in clinical doctorate training.
