WARD 19 ELDERLY

24,907 – 30,615 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 5)

37.5 hours per week – PERMANENT

We have opportunities for Band 5 nurses to provide a high quality of care for patients with complex needs including Dementia, Delirium and Parkinson’s disease. We have a dedicated team from the Lead Nurse, Ward Sister, Charge Nurse, Registered nurses, Unregistered Nurses and we are the only ward to have 2 Patient flow facilitators that discharge our complex patients allowing for a more prompt discharge. You’ll be part of a close, supportive team, taking personal ownership for the levels of care our patients receive.

The ward receives excellent patient feedback and you’ll be at the forefront, providing the highest standard of evidence based care. You’ll plan, assess and implement individual care programs to those who need it most, and maintain a compassionate, caring and safe environment for all.

Please note that these charges are not applicable for roles band 5 and below.

 

Standard Check:    23.00 + Administration cost of 3.69 = deduction from salary as a one off payment.

Enhanced Check:  40.00 + administration cost of 3.69 = 13.69 deduction from 1st months’ salary, 10.00 deduction from salary over following 3 months.
