Exciting opportunities have arisen at Frimley Health, for our Older People wards at Frimley Park Hospital!

We have numerous opportunities in our wards specialising in the care of the older person who are acutely unwell. The teams include a number of multi-disciplinary professionals, such as: doctors, nurses, clinical nursing associates Allied Health Professionals, discharge co ordinators. The aim of the MDT is to provide the highest quality of care for our older patients and to facilitate safe and effective discharges.

We are seeking for dynamic, motivated and flexible Band 5 Staff Nurses who would be interested in progressing their career in nursing Older People .

We are an outgoing, friendly department looking to recruit likeminded individuals with a passion for providing care to our patients and support to their families

The successful candidate must work well in a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and relatives/carers. You will be required to be receptive to change, dynamic and demonstrate active assistance and support to your more senior colleagues in the on-going development of the department.

If you currently work in another care setting caring for the older population and are seeking a new challenge this just might be the opportunity for you.

You will have continued support from the ward manager and practise development team with lots of training opportunities, such as mentorship training, working towards degrees and masters levels.
