Whichever area you chose, you will be working with our friendly, dedicated and passionate teams who all lead from the heart. You can become an expert within this rewarding field of work in cardio-thoracics.
We care about your training and development:
At Royal Papworth Hospital, we can provide all the training you will need; you will be offered a wide range of opportunities to help you develop your skills. Depending on your experience, you will have a 3-4 week supernumerary period to help you get used to your new role.
In order to support this we have clinical education sisters based on all of our wards to provide training and ongoing support to ensure you achieve the competencies required. We have the relevant courses available in house and we work alongside our local university.
