Job Description

Are you experienced in Supporting young adults with complex needs?

Is this something you are passionate about and looking for the right opportunity?

If so we have fantastic opportunities available!

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Support Workers to support a young man with his complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives at home with his mum and siblings. He is a happy, pleasant young man who is fully dependent on his dedicated care team to support with his clinical and social needs.

When at home, he likes watching his favourite television programme the Teletubbies and listening to music. He also loves to socialise with others and spend time with his family and his dog.

He has limited communication; he uses gestures and some words to express his feelings.

At times, our service user can become anxious and agitated when there are a lot of things going on; therefore, we are looking for people with a calming nature who can comfort and reassure him when upset.

He likes to go out into the community when able to and particularly likes going for car journeys and visiting busy places like the Trafford centre.

We are looking for a team of Support workers, who can meet all his activities of daily living and fit in with his busy family household.
