Job Description

The Halfway Hotel is located on the main Hessle Road, Hull which is surrounded by housing and shops yet only a few minutes drive into Hull city centre. This is a wet only pub with a good footfall throughout the day and into the evening.

A welcoming pub with TV screens, teams and entertainment which appeals to all ages within the local community. Internally there is a central bar with a large lounge area enabling pool, darts and drinking whilst TV's enable good viewing from all angles. There is a paved patio area to the front side of the premises to soak up the sun along with a car park to the rear.

The ideal candidate would be a community operator (s) who can build relationships with the community. This would be the ideal pub for a first - timer as full training and support will be given.

Things to consider In addition to the £5k security deposit and legal fees required for this agreement, you will need to cover your own insurance, except building insurance, which well cover. Also, youll want to start thinking about your team; taking care of paying them and all other employment matters. Before we all sign the agreement and see you heading into a whole new life, youll just need to show us proof that youve had independent financial advice from an accountant and solicitor, as dictated by the Statutory Pub Code. And, of course, obtain your personal licence (which well help with) and complete your induction training. Its a five-year commitment, so you have loads of time to build the business and get it performing brilliantly but, if you do want to leave early, theres always the option of six months notice with a break clause in the contract.
