What the Job Involves
- Managing end-to-end strategic delivery of commissioning projects with a focus on Integrated Community Equipment.
- Leading the development and delivery of health and social care services through performance and contract management.
- Collecting and analyzing information for assessing needs and mapping supply in social care and health services.
- Preparing written briefings and reports to inform strategic planning.
- Coordinating stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust and needs-based commissioning activities.
- Facilitating access to the Integrated Equipment Service for Equipment Prescribers.
- Leading and managing new commissioning projects using project management tools.
- Undertaking research, benchmarking, data analysis, and financial projections to support strategic objectives.
- Producing performance information and reports for senior managers and elected members.
- Managing IT systems, ensuring accurate invoice processing.
- Developing contract specifications and contributing to continual service review and improvements.
- Providing cover for team members during absences and supporting corporate commissioning projects when needed.
- Representing the London Borough of Bromley and NHS Bromley Integrated Commissioning Board in partnerships.
