What the Job Involves

  • Managing end-to-end strategic delivery of commissioning projects with a focus on Integrated Community Equipment.
  • Leading the development and delivery of health and social care services through performance and contract management.
  • Collecting and analyzing information for assessing needs and mapping supply in social care and health services.
  • Preparing written briefings and reports to inform strategic planning.
  • Coordinating stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust and needs-based commissioning activities.
  • Facilitating access to the Integrated Equipment Service for Equipment Prescribers.
  • Leading and managing new commissioning projects using project management tools.
  • Undertaking research, benchmarking, data analysis, and financial projections to support strategic objectives.
  • Producing performance information and reports for senior managers and elected members.
  • Managing IT systems, ensuring accurate invoice processing.
  • Developing contract specifications and contributing to continual service review and improvements.
  • Providing cover for team members during absences and supporting corporate commissioning projects when needed.
  • Representing the London Borough of Bromley and NHS Bromley Integrated Commissioning Board in partnerships.
