What the Job Involves

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a targeted education inclusion service within Southwark's Family Early Help Service. Your duties include promoting full-time attendance, preventing exclusions, and providing expert advice to stakeholders. You will conduct assessments, oversee casework, and ensure timely interventions using a Team Around the Family approach. Additionally, you will lead education legal planning meetings, advise on school exclusion policies, and support the development of multi-agency plans. Maintaining accurate records, conducting attendance investigations, and liaising with schools and families are also key aspects of your responsibilities. The job requires flexibility in working hours, and you will be based in a modern office with opportunities for flexible working arrangements.
