An exciting opportunity has arisen due to maternity leave, for an aspiring Acting Deputy Headteacher to work in collaboration and under the direction of the Acting Headteacher to strengthen the strategic direction and development of the school.
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic person, who has the passion and commitment to support, challenge and develop staff and lead our amazing team. The successful candidate will be an experienced or aspiring school leader, who will support the ethos, values and policies of the school to ensure high standards and continuous school improvement is achieved throughout Cogenhoe Primary. Although the role is not to manage one specific class, we are looking for the right person whose classroom practice is innovative and consistently reflect outstanding practices, along with supporting and strengthening the leadership, so that key priorities for the school can be realised. The Acting Deputy Headteacher will support the Acting Headteacher in specific daily tasks, including administration and organisation of the school day and take on additional responsibilities that the Acting Headteacher requests.
