At a really exciting time in its journey to excellence, Blackthorn Primary School, part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT) is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our brand-new special unit for SEMH which is opening in January 2022. This is a really exciting time for the school and the Trust, and we are looking for adventurous, ambitious, committed staff to join us on this journey.

The Teaching Assistants will have experience of working with children. They will be able to work effectively as a member of the team, have excellent interpersonal skills and consistently support the school values and approaches to a high standard.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safer recruitment practice. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for shortlisted applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process. The successful applicant will be expected to have two satisfactory references and undertake a medical questionnaire.
