About the role

As an Automation Test Engineer, youll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, ever evolving, fun and friendly environment. It’ll be your job to ensure smooth test processes and that testing frameworks are robust and reliable.

You'll be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and issues on newly developed features as well as confirming the stability of established systems. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and good communication skills.

Ideally, you'll have a background in test automation at a UI and API level and have been working within an Agile and Angular stack environment.

Working in a collaborative team, you'll work with multiple partners across the business including development partners/vendors to improve the overall testing cycle as well as ensuring accurate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.

It is your responsibility to assist with tests plan articulation, planning and the management of the testing events cycle and promote best practice in Quality assurance and testing. On top of this we want you to build robust and flexible tests, balancing automation, and manual exploratory testing to help make product engineering as scalable and risk free as possible.

The must haves:

  • Examples of performing automation testing at UI and API level.
  • Hands-on background working in an Agile environment
  • Proven experience with using Javascript and Angular.
  • Demonstrable understanding of web technologies including HTML and CSS.
  • Evidence an awareness of security risks within software engineering patterns.

Other stuff we're looking for:

  • Exposure to a range of testing tools and automation frameworks including Percy, Cypress, Postman, WebDriver IO, Mocha and Jasmin.
