Job Description

Our Ambulance volunteers treat people who are injured or unwell and take them to hospital. The Ambulance Support training team runs courses for them to learn and keep up to date. We need volunteers to lead training so that they have the knowledge and skills they need. Whether you are an experienced trainer or interested in learning training skills, this could be the role for you. We would like you to volunteer: - At least one course per month - Weekends or weekdays - For 12 months As tutors demonstrate how to move people by stretcher (up and down stairs and into ambulances) you'll need a reasonable level of fitness. Our fantastic training team can provide all the training you need both the training skills and clinical side so no prior experience is needed. If you live in North West England and are willing to travel, we'd love to hear from you. **Health and Safety Statement** We take an individual approach to ensuring your safety. We may ask you to complete a simple risk assessment. We will also have a conversation with you to discuss any restrictions that may still be in place in your region and identify any adjustments you may need.
