We are looking for a volunteer to join our Head Office team in Rugby and support us with managing stock in our store room, out in the community and with our suppliers. If you have great organisational skills then this could be the new challenge for you! This role would be very varied and some of the tasks we would love your support with are: Using excel to set up and continually manage a database of stock levels across various areas. Working with the fundraising team to manage the stock our volunteers are using Keeping the stock room tidy and carrying out regular checks and stock takes Setting up and monitoring a logging in and out process of equipment e.g gazebos, banners, cheques Sorting and checking returned stock to ensure it is in the correct area of stockroom and in working order What you will need: Passion and enthusiasm for stock management To be comfortable using excel and databases To be organised and methodical Enjoyment from being part of a team but also happy to carry out tasks independently The ability to ideally commit to 4-7 hours per week Our office is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm so we can accommodate any hours you are able to volunteer within these times and the address is: Blue Skies House, Butlers Leap, Rugby, CV21 3RQ We will give you a full induction to all aspects of the role and you will have ongoing support from the team and a dedicated ‘go to’ team member. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills to build your CV and gain invaluable experience working for a leading charity.
