Bank Ambulance Care Assistant (Relief) - typical role description at Falck

In this role no day will be the same, which allows you to enjoy the versatility of the job.

Our Relief Staff are planned to cover for staff absences at our various sites. Contracted to work a 45 hour, 5 day week, you will be available to cover a variety of shifts from Monday to Saturday, at times ranging from 6am to midnight, so flexibility is key to this role.

Although the majority of shifts can be planned in advance, there is also an element of on-the-day allocation to shifts, where unplanned absences have occurred.

When joining our non emergency patient transport team, you will be trained to the minimum operational standard of an Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) with a full Falck specific ‘on boarding’ program and will be fully trained in first aid, manual handling, care, policies and procedures.

As with all our employees, Falck will provide further training and development opportunities to empower you to progress from ACA level to Paramedic.
