The only thing I really enjoy shopping for in the winter are coats because it is a given, living in the UK, that we will need a coat so a new one is always going to be an investment purchase. I feel I get good value from my coats as I wear them to death for at least 5 months of the year, plus they are the all-time best cover up. Who knows if you have pyjamas on underneath? I have been known, back in the day, to take my kids to school in pyjamas and a long winter coat.
So investment in a good winter coat is high on my list of wants. If you’re going back to the office or working from home a while longer, it is the one wardrobe staple you’ll need no matter what.
