As a social gerontologist I find this website incredibly informative and practical for all older people, whether at mid-life or later life. Restless has fantastic information. Anything from great leisure activities to financial advice to ideas on your next career move. Restless is so inspirational. The information posted online and sent in the email newsletters is so current and useful. It is obvious that hours of research have gone into the articles. I have found great information about my next career move, which is the best diet for me to be following as well as financial advice on pensions. And you are also able to connect with like-minded people to chat about any topic. I would thoroughly recommend that you go and take a look

When you get to a certain age it is very hard to get a job & get recognised as a person with valuable experience to offer. When this site came to my attention I had just been made redundant after 14 years in the same company. I am 67 & after applying for well over 80 jobs I thought I was being forced to take retirement as my lot but this site with its inspirational comments/helpful tips & advice gave me the impetus to carry on. I recently secured my 1st interview & the well wishes of everyone has been overwhelming. This site has so many people messaging with their good stories, their bad stories or just how they feel at the time & there has been an outpouring of expressions of welcome & good for you/go for it that you can’t help feel good about yourself.

For those of us who are now venturing back into the “real” world after several months of isolation and are looking for inspiration and ideas to revitalise your life…….then you have just found the answer. I stumbled on this site via Facebook, so took a wee look. I have to say, for a free service, I was immensely impressed. I signed up to the site, but as yet am still trying to find time to go through it all, but what impressed me was the amount of free and subsidised online courses that are available. I am gradually coming off furlough, so time is limited but I would recommend this site to anyone. The range of helpful topics and information available is fabulous! It costs nothing to sign up so you have nothing to lose.

REST LESS is the fastest growing online community for the over 50s with tips about topics covering jobs, money, health and lifestyle. It’s a good place to find useful information about many areas of interest for our age group. As a Tai Chi Instructor it was also lovely to see they recently shared an interesting article on Tai Chi and its benefits.
