What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a small team (Arborist + Junior Arborist) across the southern regions
  • Preserve, plant, prune, and fell trees, hedgerows, and shrubs safely
  • Ensure operational efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain tree health, safety, and compliance with regulations
  • Share best practice and support the development of your team
  • Occasionally support wider grounds and environmental tasks

What We're Looking For:

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds NPTC/Lantra Level 3 in Arboriculture/Horticulture
  • CS30-CS40 chainsaw and pruning certifications
  • IPAF 3a, 3b, 1b (cherry picker/MEWP)
  • NPTC chipper operations
  • Confident climbing ability and safe working at height

Experience & Personal Qualities:

  • Proven arboriculture experience - pruning, felling, planting
  • Skilled with tools & machinery (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts)
  • Customer-focused and high standards of work
  • Knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and disease identification
  • Leadership: motivate, support, and develop your team
  • Strong health & safety focus

Other Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence and trailer entitlement
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Basic DBS check (arranged by us)
  • Positive, proactive, collaborative, and resilient mindset
