Job description
| As a duly appointed Law Officer, you will undertake civil litigation and civil law matters on behalf of the Attorney General, providing civil legal services to Government. You must manage all civil proceedings by or against the AG, Government or Crown, including ADR schemes. You will offer legal advice to all arms of Government and also assist in the selection of external counsel when specialism is required. Monitoring progress, you should ensure that all cases are completed, recorded and co-ordinated. Your remit will also include the islands of Ascension and Tristan da Cunha. |
Person specification
| An experienced UK or commonwealth qualified Solicitor or Barrister you are analytical, flexible and committed. You have a background civil litigation, in particular family and/or medical negligence. |
