Job description

As a Regional Delivery Officer within our Facilities Management team, you will help deliver excellent Hard and Soft Facilities Management services across a regional portfolio. Working closely with the Senior Lead, colleagues and FM suppliers, you will help ensure our workplaces are safe, compliant and well maintained, supporting our customers and wider business objectives.

You will be based from Lynx House Portsmouth and provide day to day support for Facilities Management related requirements in Southampton, Eastbourne and one other HMRC site within the Portsmouth Region on a monthly basis or as per operational requirement

A key focus will be statutory compliance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). You will monitor and audit supplier activity to ensure maintenance and legislative checks are completed, maintain appropriate records and escalate risks or issues where necessary. You will also monitor cleaning standards and represent Facilities Management at trade union site inspections.

Working with Hard and Soft FM contractors, you will support supplier relationships and monitor performance against contractual standards and customer requirements. You will prepare weekly and monthly reports, provide performance updates to the FM Lead and support continuous improvement across the region.

Building effective relationships is an important part of the role. You will work with colleagues across the Estates Workplace Operations Team, HMRC Lines of Business, other government departments, Arms Length Bodies, specialist site teams and external stakeholders, including neighbouring organisations, local authority resilience forums, emergency services and contractors.

You will also provide administrative and financial support, including monitoring spend and supporting funding requests for improvement works. You will take ownership of customer queries, complaints and escalated issues, working with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve timely resolutions and manage risks appropriately.

As you develop, you will have opportunities to take greater ownership of projects and improvement activity across the estate, building experience in facilities management, compliance, supplier and stakeholder management, and project delivery.
