Job Summary
Working closely with the Deputy Head of Marketing, you'll ensure we optimise our marketing platforms, systems and processes to improve marketing and communications efficiency, effectiveness and performance reporting. You'll play a crucial role in stakeholder relationship management, workflow optimisation and how we leverage digital technologies and AI to enhance our marketing capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team of 12 people that sits within the wider marketing and communications team of 24 people at GCA. You will support our marketing strategy and activation by ensuring all activity is data and insight led and audience focused. This is an exciting time to join the team as we roll-out a new brand strategy, grow our digital expertise and build on our multi-disciplinary ways of working across the team.
Job description
Key Accountabilities:
Produce and analyse performance evaluation reports, providing actionable insights that improve effectiveness and inform data-led marketing strategies
Lead discussions across marketing and communications to ensure standards for insight and evaluation are being met against functional standards
Training of team members on processes, systems, and insight and evaluation
Maintain and optimise our systems and tools, ensuring they integrate effectively across our marketing channels
Manage workflows and standard operating procedures, from briefing through to evaluation, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
Leverage the latest digital marketing tools and technologies, including marketing automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance our capabilities
Maintain robust data management processes, ensuring data protection compliance while maximising audience insights and segmentation
Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including supplier agencies
Apply the principles, policies and practices of Government Communications Service to a high professional standard
Person specification
Essential Criteria (to be assessed at application stage):
Demonstrable experience of managing and integrating marketing platforms, systems and processes to meet business objectives
Excellent analytical skills, with experience using data management and reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance, interpret data and provide actionable, robust insights
Proven ability to design, implement and optimise efficient marketing processes and workflows
Able to develop strong, productive relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organisation to achieve business objectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and adapt style to suit different audiences and stakeholders
