Beyond our worldwide work in construction, logistics, and more, we're also home to the UK National Authority for Counter Eavesdropping (UK NACE). Now, youve got the opportunity to join them.

Keeping the nations secrets, secret

Working on one-of-a-kind projects

Vital to national security

It all matters

Use all your research and analysis skills as you help protect the UK from threat

When you join our small and supportive team it will be your task to analyse and prepare reports on events of interest to our clients, highlight any trends or patterns you identify, discover threats and illuminate false positives. Focused on detecting breaches of security policy or attempts at unauthorised access, and making recommendations for improvement where weaknesses are identified, youll research intelligence sources, interpret information and deep dive into datasets as you carry out investigations. Well also expect you to assess the latest systems technology, provide advice on the design of dedicated equipment and ways in which we can combat identified vulnerabilities, and manage the third-party suppliers of specialist software.

Always ready to respond to requests for advice and guidance relating to threats or specific incidents, youll work in cross-functional teams to deliver specific technical security consulting projects, and with NACEs management team to improve our analysis capability. Committed to ensuring that all analysis meets the requirements of our rigorous review assessment procedures, well also expect you to see that the publication and distribution of data and intelligence products reaches the right audiences. Key to your success will be a strong focus on your own professional development, and with this in mind youll be dedicated to keeping up to speed with the latest technologies and best practice as you work to support and grow our organisations expertise.

Develop and grow your career as you support our global mission

To be a success in this important role you should have well developed experience of data analysis and data management tools, a Level 3 qualification in Physics, Engineering or Technology, and the ability to use data analysis to produce in-depth knowledge and insights. Youll be based in Hanslope Park but well expect you to travel occasionally to London and overseas locations, so you should have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.

This is a role where youll have the opportunity to shape how we manage new services and how we deliver them, so you should be ready to look at the bigger picture, bring new ideas to the table and get involved in briefings. Self-motivated, highly driven and passionate about your work, some experience of risk analysis and technical security at policy level would be desirable, as would an understanding of state actor threats and vulnerabilities. Some knowledge of the relevant engineering and scientific fundamentals that support and underpin technical surveillance countermeasures would be a bonus, as would a Level 4 qualification in Engineering or Technology, and familiarity with relevant data analysis software, platforms or programmes.
