Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a successful, oversubscribed school with 1809 students on roll including 297 in the Sixth Form. It is situated close to the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a caretaker to join the Facilities Management Team, which comprises of 4 Caretakers, 2 Maintenance Technicians and the Facilities Manager; plus, the Cleaning Team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile. This is a physically demanding post and you must be able to meet the requirements of the job description, providing efficient and effective site maintenance support to the school.

Previous experience is beneficial, but training will be provided.

The post requires flexibility of working, including three- weekly shift pattern spanning 6.00am to 10.00pm (see below), four-weekly weekend lettings - usually Saturday only, and cover for colleagues' absence.

3-Weekly Shift Rotation:

6.00am-2.00pm / 8.00am-4.00pm / 2.00pm-10.00pm

Plus additional Weekend Lettings (4-week rotation)
