Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Durham County Council's Compliance Team for an Electrical Safety Compliance Technician.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As an Electrical Safety Compliance Technician, you will serve as the designated competent person for electrical safety and compliance across DCC's portfolio.
In this key role, you will act as the central point of contact for both internal teams and external contractors, ensuring systems and records are accurately maintained and up to date. You will also play a vital role in upholding quality standards by carrying out checks on completed works, supporting a consistent and compliant approach across all services.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical technical discipline, City & Guilds 2382-18 IET 18th Edition qualification or latest update and City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspecting & Testing.

If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
