Job Description
The role:
Adult Community Learning (ACL) is Essex County Council's provider of lifelong learning opportunities, supporting residents to gain new skills, improve employment prospects and enhance their wellbeing. The Workplace Coach plays a key role in motivating and supporting adult learners to achieve their learning goals through high-quality coaching, mentoring and tailored support.
The postholder will work collaboratively with tutors, employers and partners to ensure that all learners receive effective, inclusive and individualised support throughout their learning journey. They will model professional behaviours, encourage progression, and promote safeguarding, wellbeing and equality across all learning settings.
This role ensures every learner, regardless of background or circumstance, can access meaningful learning and develop the confidence, competence and skills to thrive at work and in life.

Please note that the job role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a driving licence and access to a vehicle,or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means.
