Job Description

As a Facilities Apprentice you will support the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the school/site by assisting with a range of facilities, caretaking, maintenance, and cleaning duties while completing a Level 2 Facilities Services Operative Apprenticeship. The apprentice will work under supervision, developing the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to maintain safe, clean, and well-functioning environments.
The role will be based across two of our school sites, Briscoe Primary School & Nursery in Basildon and Waterman Primary School in Rochford. Therefore, applicants must be able to commute between Basildon and Rochford (either via their own vehicle or public transport).

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and is willing to learn through both hands on experience and completion of the Apprenticeship Level 2 standard. You will be computer literate and be able to move across the two sites (by car or public transport).
