Job Description
KITCHEN ASSISTANT
We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to work part time in our busy school kitchen providing nutritious, healthy meals to our pupils.
Our ideal candidate will be efficient, enthusiastic, committed and have a passion for great quality food.
Duties include:
Washing up.
Cleaning the kitchen and dining hall.
Assisting with the preparation of hot and cold lunches.
Support with food service.
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
Working collaboratively with the Catering Manager and deputising for the Catering Manager as required.

The contract is for 15 hours per week in a permanent position The hours are Monday to Friday 11:00am - 14.00pm - term time only.
Pay scale is Scale 2, Point 4-5, Actual salary £8518 - £8652 pa.
