Scale 6 points 14-18 (£29540-£31537 Actual)

37 Hours per week 52 weeks per year, split shift to cover 7am-6pm, Monday to Friday. Some evening or weekend lettings may be required from time to time.

Includes 25 days paid leave plus public holidays (Holidays to be taken during school closure time)

Following the retirement of our current Site Manager, Friar's Grove Primary School requires an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of the school's physical environment. You will be responsible for the security, health and safety, and general upkeep of the school, ensuring a safe and inspiring space for pupils and staff.

Core responsibilities:

Premises Leadership: Managing the caretaking and cleaning teams and acting as the lead key holder for the school. Maintenance & Projects: Undertaking maintenance and repairs, coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and supervising external contractors for large-scale repairs or upgrades. H&S Compliance: Managing risk assessments, fire safety checks, and ensuring full statutory compliance across the site.

The successful candidate will have:

a high standard of written and spoken English excellent numeracy skills a high standard of DIY skills a strong work ethic with flexibility to respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life a good sense of humour excellent communication skills a willingness to undertake training the ability to work on your own initiative the ability to communicate well with staff, children and visitors is essential
