Minibus Driver (PSV)

PSV Minibus Driver with a minimum D1 requirement and Driver CPC Card. This role is for school term time only. Other work may be available for the right person. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting children with additional needs to various schools/colleges/day centres, using a minibus, ensuring timely and comfortable journeys. Your expertise in driving, vehicle maintenance, and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering an outstanding service experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the minibus along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to the management team
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to driving, safety, and customer service

Skills

• Proven experience as a bus or minibus driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving standards
• Excellent communication skills in English for interacting with passengers and team members
• Valid driving license suitable for PSV (Public Service Vehicle) operation and a clean driving record
• CPC Card - Certificate of Professional Competence
• Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safety protocols
• Ability to handle routine vehicle maintenance tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude toward customer service
