The role is for classroom support for an assigned year group - Initially Year 6, however you must be flexible and respond to the needs of the school as appropriate and instructed by your Line Manager.
With this in mind, we are looking for an individual who is:
A creative, knowledgeable and energetic personality with a can do attitude who has high expectations of our pupils.
Able to establish positive relationships with children and adults to become a committed member of our school family.
An experience practitioner, able to assist in the monitoring/recording of pupil progress and development
Able to support the promotion of positive relationships with parents, children and all stakeholders in a calm and patient manner
Understands the needs children in Nursery, EYFS and Key Stage One and Key Stage 2.

The post available is initially for 30 hours per week on a variable hours contract, with the minimum hours being 17.5, however initially employed working 8:30-3:30pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break. Part of the duties of the successful applicant may include lunchtime duties (Welfare Officer @ FLW for 30 minutes).
This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
The school governors take the issue of safeguarding the pupils and the successful candidate will be required to obtain an enhanced DBS Certificate.
