The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The post is required from 1st Sept 2026 to 31st Aug 2027 for a KS2 class initially for 1 year but could become permanent. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm (including a 30 minute lunchtime duty) with a 30 minute lunch break. This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.   • Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
  • English and Maths GCSE Grade 4 or above
  • Paediatric first aid
  • Experience of working with children in a primary school setting
  • Experience of working in a KS2 environment
  • Experience of supporting children with EAL
  • Experience of covering PPA 1 afternoon per week
  • Experience of delivering interventions to individuals and small groups
