Teaching Assistant – Level 3 Permanent Post – Term Time + 5 INSET Days Hours: 32.5 per week (minimum guaranteed 3 hours) We are seeking to grow our exceptional team of staff. Red Marsh School is a vibrant and outstanding special school, dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of all pupils. We support students aged 2 to 19, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. This is a permanent position with variable hours, currently set at 32.5 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 INSET days. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting students’ learning, behaviour, and personal/social development.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities across the school.
  • Leading the class in the teacher’s absence with confidence and competence. The ideal candidate will:
  • Be passionate about teaching and learning.
  • Have high expectations for both learning and behaviour.
  • Use effective strategies to support the development of pupils with SEND.
  • Be confident in assessing pupils and setting appropriate learning targets.
  • Embrace and promote the school’s values, vision, and purpose.
  • Be proficient in the use of ICT.
  • Thrive as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You must be willing to work across both the Holly and Willow campuses as needed.
