Cravenside Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade 3)
Lancashire County Council provide catering services to 16 homes and 11 day centres for older peoples services across Lancashire, serving over 800 meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the serviceYou will work as part of a team in Cravenside providing high quality, healthy, balanced meals for service users.
Key responsibilities:
- Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans- Direct and/or supervise other employees - Order supplies and store deliveries- Maintain records and stock control
What we are looking for:
- Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable
- Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirable
- Working Hours/Days: 3 hours per week Friday 2.30pm - 5.30pm

Local Government Reorganisation
The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised, with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North, South, East and West Lancashire from April 2028.
If you are successful in your application, you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However, as part of the planned transition, your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028, subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
