Vehicle Delivery Driver

MSL Logistics, a leading provider of vehicle delivery drivers across the UK, is currently seeking reliable and customer-oriented Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join their team, working with top companies in the automotive sector, providing national car delivery services.

Vehicle Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively in a team environment, handling vehicle deliveries and collections.
• Minimum public transport involved.
• Demonstrate proficiency with all ignition types, including Electric Vehicles, and possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Timely and efficient execution of single car collections and deliveries as instructed.
• Complete accurate electronic collection/delivery reports, using a handheld device that is supplied, whilst complying with client and customer requirements.
• Promptly report all vehicle accidents, damages, and faults according to company policy.
• Fulfil any necessary administrative tasks requested by the client.
• Completion of a day's work that has been allocated.
• Always ensure the security of customers' vehicles and property.
• Maintain a smart business appearance and deliver exceptional customer service.

There is little public transport involved - where possible you would be working within a team environment. This cannot be guaranteed as occasionally the use of Public Transport may be required and the costs associated are reimbursed to the driver.

Vehicle Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Possession of a valid full driving licence for a minimum of 5 years, due to commercial insurance requirements.
• Applicants must be over the age of 40 for insurance stipulations.
• Maximum of 6 points accepted for minor driving offences. We cannot accept any BA, CD40, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90, IN10, DR, DD, MS50, TT99 or UT endorsements that are currently still showing on your DVLA Licence summary as our Insurance Company will not allow cover.
• All applicants must have a driveway or off-road parking at their registered address, as the nature of the role requires adherence to SORN declaration.

This is a self-employed role, providing work up to 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Part-time self-employed roles are available.

Working as part of a team of drivers these movements are regionally allocated and sustainable, delivering vehicles into regional de-fleet centres, together with the delivery of New Vehicles to End Users. Whilst working we would usually be operating a carryover vehicle business model so off-road parking is required. The rate of remuneration for this self-employed role would be £120 per day.
