HNW Business Development Manager
About the role
As HNW Business Development Manager, you'll lead NFU Mutual's specialist High Net Worth office in Cobham, leading an expert team and driving profitable business growth across the local and city market. You'll be responsible for setting and delivering sales and marketing plans, providing excellent customer experience for the large existing HNW book whilst ensuring the office achieves its growth, profitability and service objectives.
Working closely with internal teams and key stakeholders, you'll champion the office as a high performing part of NFU Mutual. You'll oversee operational performance, customer retention activity, reporting and compliance requirements, while helping to shape new initiatives and continuous improvement activity in this important growth area for NFU Mutual.
This is a high profile leadership role with responsibility for developing talent, creating a vibrant, energised environment where your team can perform at their best. You'll also play an important role in strengthening the NFU Mutual's HNW presence through networking, relationship development and customer engagement.
The role is based in Cobham at our specialist HNW branch, with hybrid working available.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of "Good Repute". About you
You're a credible and forward thinking leader with experience in the HNW / Private Client Insurance market. You'll have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships, develop high performing teams and take a strategic approach to achieving business objectives. You're customer focused, accountable in your decision making and confident influencing a wide range of stakeholders while solving problems and driving performance.
