Job summary
This post forms part of a service currently subject to a service improvement and redesign programme. Service delivery models, roles and structures will be reviewed as part of the improvement process, which may result in changes and a consultation process in line with the Trust's Organisational Change Policy.

Applications are invited for a Band 3 Administrator to provide a comprehensive secretarial administration and information service across the Eating Disorders Team and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to the Eating Disorders Team, covering the West locality, but is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service providing cover to other departments across the Service as directed by their Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of service provision.
Main duties of the job
Evidence of good general education is essential together with good communication skills and excellent organisation ability. Knowledge of working with the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills with essential.
The successful candidate with require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.

Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.
Knowledge

- Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network.
- Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.
Experience

- Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment.
- Experience of supporting and minuting meetings
