Job summary

We are looking for two (2) Associate GPs to join our team on a permanent basis to start over the next few months doing 4-8 sessions per week each (days to be agreed).

Main duties of the job

General Practice duties supported by a well established admin and multi-disciplinary team.

Clinics will be a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening schedules

  • Team working: includes daily lunch time clinical meeting and mentoring support

Job responsibilities

Session planning for each GP session will follow the Practice schedule, which will include their regular on-call and extended hours duties.

GP contract follows the BMA model, with it admin time and CPD entitlement.

We also provide mentoring to each Associate GP who will have a designated mentor who will meet regularly.

As a teaching practice, Associate GPs will be encouraged to participate in medical student teaching and supervision of registrars.

There are specialist roles within the Practice with additional responsibilities which are linked to different tiers in the Practice pay structure.
