Job Description
Job summary
*Coordinate the ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of clinical and non-clinical products to wards, theatres, and departments.
*Maintain optimum stock levels in line with agreed ROQ/ROL targets to ensure continuous product availability.
*Assist with stock rationalisation, standardisation, and waste reduction through effective inventory management practices.
*Process orders and inventory transactions using EDC, hand scanners, e-catalogues, warehouse systems, Sage, Genesis, CMM, and other Trust systems that are implemented.
*Manage the replenishment of pharmaceutical products in accordance with agreed pharmacy stock portfolios and procedures.
*Ensure the safe handling, transportation, and delivery of medicines and supplies across operational areas.
*Maintain accurate stock records and support efficient inventory control processes.
*Resolve day-to-day logistics and materials management queries, escalating issues where appropriate.
*Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to support operational efficiency and service continuity.
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and supply chain operations.
*Adhere to Trust policies, professional standards, and health and safety regulations at all times.
*Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and time management skills within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
*Remain flexible and adaptable to support different departmental roles and operational demands when required.

- *Good Standard of General Education to GCSE or equivalent level (E)
- *Willingness to undertake training and become competent in fire warden training.
- *Driving license.
- *Stock controlling experience.

- NVQ Level 3 / ONC Business Studies or relevant equivalent experience. (D)

- *Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
