Main duties of the job
The role of Bank Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare allows experienced individuals the flexibility and control to select shifts that suit their lifestyle and financial needs. After a paid two-week induction, successful candidates will have access to shifts at The Woodmill facility in Cullompton, with future opportunities to work at other Elysium services in the region. There is no mandatory number of hours required; however, frequent working is advised to retain familiarity and knowledge. Shifts, including weekdays, nights, and weekends, can be conveniently booked through an app. Employees benefit from an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift and receive various benefits such as free meals on duty and free parking. The position requires experience in a mental health setting and involves supporting individuals with Mental Health conditions. Elysium Healthcare operates 24/7, offering 12.5-hour shifts and a zero-hour contract to allow flexibility in shift selection.

This role requires experience working in a mental health setting.What you will be doing
You will join the team that works well together to provide care for people with Mental Health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker or Care Worker, you will utilise your experience to support people to lead a valued and fulfilled life.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you'll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.
Where you will be working
Location: Exeter Road, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1EA
The Woodmill is a 18 bed unit creates a pathway for patients to step down through their recovery. Ivy is a 6 bed admission area and Rose is a 12 bed rehabilitation area, with the option to flex within the 12 bed area to a four bed section that can create a further step down with a separate entrance for those patients that are progressing well and are preparing for discharge to the community.
The aim of the service is to support women to improve their self-worth, build a better quality of life for themselves and to equip them with the skills needed for community living and increased independence.
