Main duties of the job
As a Bank Housekeeper at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for creating a safe and clean environment at Emerald Place Clinic. This role involves cleaning various areas of the clinic, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure high cleaning standards are met throughout the facility. The position offers the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule, with an hourly rate of £12.85 including a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift, and you will receive weekly pay. Necessary training is provided to support your role, fostering a positive work environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals with long-term neurological conditions. As part of your duties, you will need to maintain security standards, demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette, and establish positive relationships with staff, visitors, and service users. The role may involve undertaking additional tasks appropriate to the post, attending mandatory and statutory training annually.

As a Housekeeper you will be:
- Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
- To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
- Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
- Helping create a positive culture.
- Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
- Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs.
These could include mental health conditions such as mood disorders and acute psychosis. Additionally young people may have co-existing additional needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
Emerald Place Clinic is located in a remote area with limited public transport links. Applicants will need to have access to reliable mode of transport to travel to and from the site.What you will get:
