Job responsibilities
Crisis Recovery Worker Hours: 18 hours per week Location: Warrington & Halton Shifts: 6pm - midnight. Two nights per week we work in Halton - Tuesday/ Wednesday and Thursday Runcorn (All staff must be able to travel to and from both venues) Salary: £12,771 - £14,101 per annum (£26,607 - £29,378 FTE) About us Mental Health Matters (MHM) is a national charity with over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality mental health and social care services. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with clients experiencing mental health challenges, contributing to a supportive team, and working in partnership with local agencies and external networks. About you You will have experience of working with Mental Health and will be able to inspire and engage people. You will have the ability to identify barriers and understand client needs, while possessing excellent motivational skills. This will include one to one engagement and facilitating group-based activities, sign posting and engaging people in mainstream provision. You will have an understanding of working with people with a variety of complex needs including mental health, learning, physical and substance misuse would be an advantage for this post. Your knowledge of working within a community-based service is essential and will have equipped you with the relevant communication and interpersonal skills required for the role. It is essential that you hold a Health and Social Care level 2 or level 3 and be willing to develop further as the role requires. Please note this role is 7 days per week including weekends and bank holidays and the shifts are 6pm - midnight.
