Deputy Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager - Surgery Women's and Children's Lead
We have an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our senior pharmacy team as Deputy Pharmacy Clinical Services Manager and Lead Pharmacist for Surgery Women's and Children (SWC). This is your chance to make tangible and sustainable improvements that really make patient care and clinical pharmacy better.
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to manage and develop clinical pharmacy services across surgery, critical care and women's and children's.
The Pharmacy Department at the Great Western Hospital is at the heart of the Trust's programme to move forward and transform itself. Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Postgraduate diploma or equivalent
- Keeping professionally up to date including CPD
- Significant pharmacy experience involving clinical pharmacy services and MDT working
- Non-medical prescriber or working towards qualification
Desirable
- Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
- Evidence of training in change management
- Management qualification/experience
Experience
Essential
- Significant experience as a qualified pharmacist
- Proven experience in service improvement utilising quality improvement (QI) methodology
- Demonstrable evidence of staff development, leadership and management.
- Experience of working effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience
Desirable
- Experience of writing and implementing business plans
- Experience in undertaking and publishing research projects
