Job summary

The Digital Content and Engagement Officer supports the organisations marketing and communications (Marcomms) activity by producing highquality digital content and strengthening engagement across social media, websites and digital platforms. The post holder plays a key role in promoting organisational messages, enhancing brand identity and supporting the delivery of communication and marketing campaigns to internal and external audiences.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and publish digital content across social media, websites and online platforms to support Marcomms objectives.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Produce graphics, videos, written content and promotional materials aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor digital engagement, respond to online enquiries and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Support internal communications, newsletters and digital updates.
  • Analyse digital performance data and prepare basic reports to inform marcomms planning.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital outputs.
  • Contribute to organisational events, campaigns and promotional activities through digital channels.
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams and external partners to support communication and engagement goals.

The Priory Centre in Lundwood is one of Barnsley Healthcare Federations most vibrant and dynamic bases, a busy community hub where healthcare, local services and people come together every day.
