Main duties of the job

As a Domestic Care Assistant at Norton Lees care home, you play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, without providing direct care. Your responsibilities include keeping communal areas safe, clean, and welcoming, as well as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents rooms to a high standard. You will collaborate with the management team to uphold hygiene standards and bring warmth and kindness to residents through small acts of friendliness. Offering a salary of £12.72 per hour, the position includes benefits such as a refer-a-friend scheme, career advancement opportunities with fully funded qualifications up to QCF Level 5, and discounts via the Blue Light Card. The role requires a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK, flexibility to work during the hours of 08:00 to 20:00, and availability on alternative weekends.
