Job summary

Mid Dorset Primary Care Network partners Mid Dorset GP Practices in the delivery of extended primary care services.

We are seeking an organised team member to support purchasing, input and output of financial information and complete routine finance transactions.

The hours for this post will be up to 2 half days per week but this may increase as MDPH develops services.

Days may be flexible by arrangement with the management team prior to employment.

This role is only open to candidates with UK residential status as we are unable to sponsor applicants at present.

Main duties of the job

Receive regular purchase requests from across the PCN teams including nursing consumables, drugs, stationery, housekeeping etc.

Ensure value for money

Negotiate with suppliers

Working Closely with the Managing Director to manage income/expenditure.

Report writing

Managing financial systems.
