Job summary
Partnering Health Limited has a brand new, exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join the newly mobilised service based in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will join us on a full time or part time, permanent basis and you will receive a highly competitive salary.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team, the post holder will provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. They will also provide a highly specialist resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers and have active involvement in Clinical Governance and Effectiveness activities.
General Practitioner Skills & Experience:
Provide appropriate medical leadership
Provide appropriate care and services to patients in all age ranges and level of health care needs
Maintain clinical records either written or computer based in line with professional code and requirements utilising appropriate READ coding and other coding systems
Liaise with all relevant agencies and services to promote knowledge and awareness of the Service
Provide appropriate health education and advice to patients and carers to enable self-management and choice
Work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the entire team to ensure that effective clinical governance is incorporated in the day-to-day practice in the Medical Service
Develop and maintain high levels of communication with patients and carers ensuring effective care delivery

Job responsibilities

Contracts available : Part-time or Full-time (40 hrs p/w)
Positions available : 3+
Hours to be covered : 10am 10:30pm Mon to Sun

- An experienced doctor with GP accreditation
- Current registration with GMC and NHS performers list (with no conditions preventing working or restrictions on practice)
- Experience if working in urgent care environment such as A&E, Walk in centres
- Record of on-going CPD and learning
- MRCGP examination or equivalent experience
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance
Evidence of ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care
Evidence of ability to direct and co-ordinate programmes of care working autonomously and collaboratively
