Job summary

The Role Covering a 12-month maternity leave, this is a senior finance role with genuine scope. You'll lead the full finance function: management accounts, cash flow, budgeting, board reporting, compliance, while working closely with senior leadership to support commercial decision-making. Day to day you'll be responsible for: Monthly management accounts, variance analysis and group reporting Month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations Cash flow forecasting and financial planning Board and investor reporting, including KPI packs VAT, HMRC, UK GAAP compliance and audit support Overseeing AP, AR, payroll support and supplier payments Managing and developing the finance team

Main duties of the job

What We're Looking For Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) At least 5 years' experience in a finance role, ideally in healthcare or the private sector Strong technical accounting knowledge and UK regulatory understanding Hands-on with Sage and advanced Excel; Xero or Zoho experience a bonus Someone who's comfortable at board level and equally comfortable rolling their sleeves up ________________________________________ Why This Role?
