Job summary
We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to work at our busy Medical Practice.
We are looking for somebody who has experience in this role if possible, but are happy to train the right candidate if necessary.
Main duties of the job
The main duties will include running your own clinic, phlebotomy, managing samples, helping with chronic disease management, ECG's, Ear syringing, NHS Health checks, wound care and ulcer management, waste management, stock control and helping with nursing administration as and when required.

We are a friendly village based Medical Practice with over 12.5k of patients and growing.
You would be part of a small Nursing team which operates across both of our sites at Willingham and Longstanton.
Job responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our friendly nursing team.
Daily tasks will include running your own clinic, phlebotomy, managing samples, helping with chronic diseases, ECG's, Ear syringing, NHS Health Checks, Wound care including leg ulcer management.

Experience
Essential
- Some experience of working within a nursing team if possible.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a nursing team
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ level 3 or 4 - training will be given to the right candidate
Desirable
- Qualified in phlebotomy
- qualified to NVQ level 3 or 4
